Oh man do we have a show for you this week! Join us as we go on our epic year end podcast journey, which we’ve clearly put tons of thought into and did not begin prep for only moments before hitting record. We’ll cover everything from Streamer/Caster of the year to best e-sports league and of course game of the year. I know the year isn’t quite over yet but with two hosts leaving town we may not be posting shows until 2012. Anyway grab some mulled wine and a warm Snuggie as Steve gets into the Chimay while Charlie and Matt enjoy an assortment of Samuel Adams seasonal beers. 25 Cent Play Podcast – 12/06/11
Back again for another round, this week we’re trying the video live stream again. Didn’t go quite as well as the first as we were getting some strange slow downs from somewhere. Which could be the result of messing with some drivers. Whoops.
Anyway, join us as we get our jungle on with League of Legends, continue our laddering with Starcraft 2, run faster with the knife in Counter Strike: Global Offensive and beat people with sex toys (!?!?) in Saints Row The Third, nice to see someone picked up on the Shrek naming scheme. Another one in the books! Join us this time around as we discuss all of the games Matt bought but didn’t play, Charlie played some Starcraft Steve and Matt both get some time in with Star Wars: The Old Republic and everyone enjoyed some fine Dota 2 action! That’s right Dota 2! We talk about the joys of the ‘Donkey All In’ and the perils of of playing public matches. We’re in for the long haul here as well follow up on the eSports conversation from last week and Matt lays the smack down. Happy Thanksgiving! Join us this week for the low energy-cast! What games out of the new releases for the week did we play? Steve has had the PC version of Batman: Arkham City for a few hours, Charlie climb up and down the Starcraft 2 ladder some more and Matt well, he did something. On top of that week discuss the recently completed MLG Providence and what it may take to open up to a wider audience. 25 Cent Play Podcast – 11/16/11
Beer. This week beer is not an issue as we have some enjoyable seasonal brews (Snow Cap and Wassail) on hand and a surprise appearance by the 2011 version of The Abyss. Listen in as Charlie tells us how to win big in League of Legends: Dominion with Shaco. We spam our Facebook friends with the recently released social isometric 3D in-browser Flash-based game Gunshine. We’ll also discuss the state of video game streaming and wonder how much longer people will be able to play The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim or the recent ‘gold’ release of Minecraft before lawyers step in.
